Laws Railroad Museum & Historical Site is offering two days full of activity, and there’s something for everyone.

 

Bring a picnic, visit the newly re-opened 1915 Conway House, ride the train, enjoy our eleven acres of exhibits, and more!

 

We are having some fun activities in the Engine House, so come by and check out the latest news on our beloved Slim Princess steam locomotive restoration, make origami valentines, and more. And don’t forget the Museum Store with great gift items by local artists.

 

The museum is open 10:00 - 4:00 & the Museum Store is open from 10:00 - 3:30. Call (760) 873-5950 (Press 2 for Reception) for more information.

During Hobo Day, inspired by the 125-year-old  tradition established in Britt, Iowa, visitors learn about the culture of migrant workers who rode the rails after the Civil War and during the Great Depression.  Music provided by Pete Watercott and Charles Broten.
