A Once in a Lifetime Event:

Sisters in History: No.18 and No.9Engine No18, restored to operation in 2017 by the Carson & Colorado Railway organization from Independence California, has arrived at the Laws Railroad Museum and Historical Site to be reunited with her sister Engine No9 (on static display), and No18 will be in steam and operating on our rails during her visit.

Both engines are oil-fired 4-6-0 “Ten-Wheeler” narrow gauge locomotives, built by Baldwin in 1911.

We are delighted to offer this exciting event:  --you have the opportunity to ride in caboose No401 pulled behind the one and only Slim Princess No18.

Rides are offered from 9:00am to 4:00pm, on the following dates:

  • March 18, 2023
  • March 19, 2023
  • March 25, 2023
  • March 26, 2023

Grounds Admission:

Special admission fees apply during the above dates--

For the first 300 tickets sold per date:
$30.00 per adult
$20.00 per child 10 and under
Admission includes one steam ride. and one Death Valley Brill ride.*

For ticket 301 and thereafter each day:
$25.00 per adult
$15.00 per child 10 and under
Admission includes one Death Valley Brill ride.*

Bonus! Food vendors will be on site for your dining pleasure.

*Death Valley Brill Car No5 will be running while No18 is watering.

Museum Closure Notice:
