Good Ole Days 2023 Vendor Information and Agreement | Laws Railroad Museum and Historical Site

Dear Artists, Crafters, and Food Vendors,

Thank you for your interest in in the 2023 Laws Good Ole Days. This is an outdoor event held at Laws Railroad Museum & Historical Site [herein "Laws"]. Laws is approximately 5 miles north of Bishop on Highway 6 and holds this event annually on the 2nd Saturday in September. This year, on September 9^th from 11 am until 6 pm.

Laws invites you to participate.

Please consider demonstrating your art or craft skills. This will give your customers a deeper appreciation for the art and crafts that you exhibit and sell. Of note may be that:

The event offers space rent-free, and in lieu of a fee, asks you to donate an item in advance, representing your art or craft. to the event’s Silent Auction.
Booth space may vary but is anticipated to be about 10’x10’.
Power supply is generally not available, if you require power, please work with us prior to the event to evaluate how your needs can be addressed.
Dogs are allowed but need to be on leash or in a secure pen at all times.
Set up time starts at 9 am, doors open at 11 am. We hope you can stay for the day.

In general, as vendors, Laws expect you to:

Provide the agreement form with information requested by Friday, September 1, 2023.
Submit your donation to the event’s Silent Auction by Friday, September 1, 2023.
Supply your own display setup and shade canopies.
Be responsible for the safety, protection, and insurance of your exhibit and merchandise – Laws does not guarantee protection against theft, accidental damages, or loss.
Set up prior to start and break down at the event conclusion independently. You will be able to temporarily drive in and un/upload prior to and after the event.
Food vendors must have an active Inyo County food service license or obtain a temporary food license by directly applying with the Inyo County Environmental Health Office. Note that the application needs to be filed with the Inyo County Environmental Health Office at least 30 days in advance of the event.
Be fully responsible for the Inyo County sales tax of 7.75%.
