BUILDING’S ORIGIN
This is the original Laws Post Office. This is one of the first historic buildings moved to the museum; it stood on Joe Smith Road NE of the museum until 1966,   (Joe Smith Road was the original route north to Chalfant Valley and predates Highway 6.)

HISTORY
The last Postmistress was Florence Smith whose residence was behind the Post Office. You can see her original home across the museum grounds, a building now called The Bottle House.
