125TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION the third Saturday of each month, April through September.

Raffle tickets for sale in our gift Shop.  Raffles to be held at Good Ole Days.

  • April 19, The train arrives at Bishop Creek (Laws).

  • May 17, Honoring our armed forces, veterans and freedom.

  • June 21, DAVE STAMEY in concert at 7:00 pm.  BBQ available for the evening performance. Bring your lawn chair as seating is limited.  Admission charge required.

  • July 19, Vroom, Vroom!  Old things that can move and make noise will be moving and making noise.  Everyone is invited to bring their things that are over 50 years old and still run;  Sewing machines to trucks and everything in between.

  • August 16, Mining in the Owens Valley - the reason the railroad came here in the first place.

  •   Talks and demonstrations of old time mining in the Owens Valley.
  • September 20,Good Old Days” celebration, games, food, craft demonstrations and plain old time fun.  Free Admission,   Open to everyone

  • Semi annual Choo Choo Swap Meet held the first Saturday in May and the first Saturday in October.  “100 yard sales in one place”.  This event is held at the Tri County Fairgrounds in Bishop.  For information about reserving a booth contact the Museum.

  • Annual Members Barbeque, held on July 9.  Information will be mailed to all members.

  • Old timers Picnic, August 30th.

The Death Valley Car will be out on display on the tracks on Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day weekend, and Labor Day weekend, and other times as warranted.
